Hey again! Just wanted to share a quick update on the artistic voxel rendering of the IDEA Center as it has progressed a good bit since the last post. I'll briefly describe the modifications made since then; pictures of the updated model are attached below.

Organic Shelving

Firstly I fleshed out the concept of organically profiled shelving lining front and side walls of the area beside the entry way (the main area of the retail space within the IDEA Center). This is inspired by parametric art which is very popular among CNC artists. Look up "cnc parametric art" for a ton of great examples.

Chalk Calendar

Secondly, I put in a chalkboard calendar adjacent to the reception desk. It's designed to be really big so we can plan out overlapping events if need be and contain a lot of information in a single day.

Uncertainty and Confusion

So initially I intended to use the bar table on top of the lockers as more seating/work area. While it could still technically be used in that capacity the lockers take up enough space below the table to prevent anyone from being able to fit their legs underneath. So, in short, I am confused and uncertain exactly how to utilize that work surface. I suspect It may require the reconfiguration of the lockers into more of a "tower of storage".
