Hey everyone! Lately we've put a lot of work into thinking about the layout of the idea center from a technical/design stand point, but I really wanted to start mapping out some of the aesthetics too.
I recently came across some really neat looking interior design renders from a few accounts on Instagram. The style of the models were "voxelated" and for those unfamiliar with voxels, all it is is a 3D pixel. Think Minecraft and Legos (if every brick was a cube). Checkout pixotato and srankdesigns on Instagram for their work which caught my eye in the first place.
I initially thought to ask if they would be willing to collaborate and help make us a model of the IDEA center. Pixotato, however, was cool enough to share her know how and the programs she uses with the public through her blog. The program she used to create her designs is called Magica Voxel.
LONG STORY SHORT
I decided to try designing the IDEA Center on my own in Magica Voxel to start figuring out the aesthetics of the space. I'm far from done but here are my results so far!
This looks amazing. I can't wait to make it all real.
